How Integrilla moved its help center off Intercom: 42 articles, 265 images, zero broken links
Integrilla is a messenger-integration platform for CRMs, built by the same team as Multibase. Its customer help center lived in Intercom Articles for years. In September 2026 we moved it to Multibase. This post is the migration in numbers, including the part that went wrong.
Short version: 42 published articles, 13 categories and 265 images moved over. All 42 old Intercom article URLs still work and redirect to the new pages. The help center is live at faq.integrilla.io.
Why move at all
The reason was cost. We wrote it up in detail in why the Intercom knowledge base gets expensive: the help center was tied to per-seat Intercom pricing, and running a second branded help center meant moving to a higher tier. Multibase includes several branded portals in one plan, which is the whole point of the product.
What was imported
The importer pulls everything through the Intercom API:
| What | Count | Notes | |---|---|---| | Published articles | 42 | Russian-language content | | Categories | 13 | Intercom collections become Multibase categories | | Images | 265 | Downloaded from Intercom and re-hosted on our storage | | Legacy URL redirects | 42 | One per article, old slug → new page |
Images are the step people forget. Intercom serves article images from its own CDN, so if you only copy the text, every screenshot disappears the day you cancel. The importer downloads each image and rewrites the article to point at the re-hosted copy.
Keeping old links alive
Customers had years of Intercom links saved in chats, CRM templates and bookmarks. Breaking them would have sent support tickets up for weeks.
For every imported article the importer stores the old Intercom slug as a redirect. When someone opens an old link, Multibase answers with a permanent redirect (HTTP 308) to the new article, so both readers and search engines move over.
The gotcha: non-Latin slugs
Our articles are in Russian, so Intercom slugs contained Cyrillic. Intercom stores those slugs percent-encoded (%D0%BF%D0%BE...), while browsers send the decoded form when someone opens the link.
The first import stored the slugs exactly as Intercom returned them, encoded. Every redirect missed and returned 404. The fix was to decode slugs before saving them. If you migrate content in any non-Latin language, check this first.
What it looks like now
The help center runs at faq.integrilla.io on its own domain, in Integrilla's own branding. A second brand, Povidomlyaka, runs on Multibase too, from a separate workspace.

Planning your own migration
- Export your article list first. Count articles, collections and images so you know what to check afterwards.
- Decide what happens to old URLs. Redirects for every article are the default; turning them off is the exception.
- Test one non-Latin article end to end if you have any.
- Check images on the new site before you cancel Intercom.
